Only eaten here a few times, but plan to return. Beautiful atmosphere and very high quality food. Some of the best salmon I've ever had and I've had many kinds of fresh fish from Mrytle Beach and Florida. Your guys chefs are amazing keep up the great work. Need more restaurants like these where they value providing healthy and clean meals to people.

I was there last night, this is one of my favorite places to eat in town. We stayed at the bar and my sister ordered a steak. it was very salty to eat, I tried it I was like nope. we had to return it and have another one made. I asked the manager to taste it and he wouldn't. I didn't want them to think we just wanted to waste food and money, but I wish someone in the kitchen would consider tasting the food before brining to the table to make sure its eatable . We have ordered the same meal several times but it was not this salty.. I am sure it was a one day mistake but manager didn't seem to acknowledge the issue. We are returning customers, we know the food we order we know the taste. Acknowledge the mistake and move on. I give a 5 star because its still a great place.

Waitress was great . Food didn't pass the test for me. I feel the sides as in there mac &cheese mash potatoes where not homemade they taste from the box

Good food and atmosphere. Maybe a little pricey for what you're getting but still a nice stop.

We have been several times and always had a fantastic experience. Food is great. We did have an off experience, but the manager called us the following day so he could make sure it didn't happen again.

Had great food and good drinks, but terrible service. Would've given more stars if our waitress would have brought drinks out in a timely fashion. Our waitress was horrible, I only tipped $15 on a $150 bill. We got an appetizer, drinks, and desert on top of our meal, and 15-20 minutes passed by between drinks let alone servings. Great place to go overall but this was a bad experience.

Had a perfectly cooked N.Y. Strip Steak with a loaded baked potato. Sushi appetizer was also prepared perfectly. Enjoyed a happy hour drink before dinner that was tasty. Serving staff was kind, helpful and there before you needed them which in my opinion is a characteristic of well trained servers. Fantastic restaurant!

This is my go to location for J. Alexanders in Columbus. Everything I've gotten here has always been cooked to perfection. This location specifically even knows how to make a "well done" steak taste great without burning it. The deviled eggs are also made perfectly at this location as well. I always get the steak and fries and have never been disappointed.

Visited this restaurant with my father and sister, we all enjoyed the food and service, absolutely amazing! We reserved a table ahead of time and got seated right away, so it’s definitely recommend you reserve. The place requires a dress code. The steak was cooked really nicely, and the fries were light! The dessert was chocolate goodness, I recommend this restaurant for your next celebration meal!

J. Alexander is one of my favorite restaurants!! The reason i am giving them 3 stars instead of 5 is because they got rid of the best menu item. The steak rolls!! Why they would ever get rid of those i have no idea. I know so many people who loved them and i know they were a great selling item. I came here just for those and i am so sad to learn they are gone. Definitely won't be coming back as often now.

Roasted chicken breast was great. Best Cole slaw in the land!

Go to place for excellent American food including the best prime rib in a Columbus. Service is always friendly and welcoming. Never been disappointed. Highly recommend.

This place is consistently above average in service and food quality. We rarely get an evening babysitter so we were on the hunt for the best place to get steak for lunch and I can confidently say that this is that place. The chocolate cake doesn’t disappoint either.

Very beautiful and well-kept - the image of a first class restaurant. However we felt the food was not equivalent..... it was “good” but not “great ” , which for a $100 evening we were hoping for . Sorry!

We both got a newyork strip steak, the quality was for sure there but unfortunately the out side was burnt. We had ordered it to be medium and it was exept the out side that was burnt. It was very disappointing seeming we paid $91.00 for two steaks and a drink. The service was mediocre.

Very nice service and food. Steak, prime rib and chicken look amazing. Was looking for a bit lighter and opted for sushi rolls. This isn't their strength, but was better than average. The deviled eggs are a wonderful comfort food appetizer.

yesterday was my first time in the establishment and also my last. We came there to celebrate a friends birthday after being there for an hour we were approached by the general manager Drew Kline asking us "how much longer we were going to be because other guest needed our seats". it's not like we were just holding up seats in a crowded restaurant we were ordering food and drinks and the restaurant was primarily empty. I was very embarrased and humiliated by his actions. for that reason I will never step foot in this establishment again.

We had a really enjoyable evening at this establishment. The dining room had a very cozy intimate feel to it. Our server was very personable. She was also quite knowledgeable about the menu. Our food came out cooked to order and in a timely manner. The food was delicious. It was a very positive and enjoyable dining experience. I would recommend you stop by and experience it for yourself.

First time trying out J. Alexander. Really good food. I enjoyed myself and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Staff was awesome sauce. Very kind, generous, and respectful. The only down fall I would say would be the menu didnt have alot of variety if food to choose from. But all in all I like the food, the quality, and the experience.

This is one of the best places in Columbus to eat. The food is delicious, and the staff culturally diverse and exceptionally attentive. The price is what you would expect for a quality experience.

Nice clean restaurant. I enjoy the clear view of the cooks. We ordered traditional meals so Our food was good. Our service was fast. It wasn't too crowded although I know it can get that way. Plenty of seating and the bar area is huge. Restrooms were very clean.

One of my favorite places to eat while in Columbus. Everything I've eaten there has been absolutely perfect. The staff are absolutely the best.

Service was great as always, food was very good too, we usually dine at redlands grill which use to be J Alexanders as well. Although Redlands did remove some items from the menu, the qualty of the food at Redlands has stayed the same over the years, along with classic items they offer. We prefer Redlands at the Campus View location.

The food was great especially the steak and potatoes. The manager could of been customer friendly. He did come around in the end! Great recovery!!!

I know most people have mixed feelings about them but I’ve never had an issue when dining in or happy hour. They are always attentive and courteous. The ladies rest is always clean and has an amazing fresh scent they use. The bathroom being on par in a restaurant is a must for me. My favorite about J. Alexander’s; happy hour! Sad they took the salmon dip off the happy hour menu BUT I found a new fave. AVOCADO BOMB. It’s a sushi item. This right here was melt in your mouth good! I could eat this everyday and experience a new taste. Tortilla chips would not be my preference to serve it with. I would prefer cut pieces of seaweed wrap being it is a sushi item. I think they chose tortilla chips because of the avocado.

Overall pretty good. Some bartenders better than others. Would recommend their martinis, they give you the "second half" after shaking/stiring in a small glass so you can finish the "leftovers" which is a nice change of pace feomcmost places that dump half your drink down the drain after mixing

Restaurant staff was attentive and courteous. I stared off with the smoked salmon dip. This was the best Salmon dip I have ever tried. For my main course and dinner I ordered the steak medallions with marsalla sauce and mashed potatoes. The mash potatoes were to die for. Absolutely delightful. The medallions were ok. The rice and orzo on the other hand was ornate and delicately prepared with a variety of textures and tastes. I finished the meal off with a pumpkin pie which was magnificent and silky smooth.

Today I came to J. Alexander's to enjoy the birthday meal that I didn't get to have during quarantine. J. Alexander's has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I was incredibly disappointed that the Cleveland location has permanently closed. However, I was willing to drive 2 hours to dine at my favorite restaurant. Overall, my experience was phenomenal! I ordered the Alex's salad, filet mignon with bearnaise sauce, and hot carrot cake. The salad, as always, was fresh and crisp. My steak was perfectly tender, and the carrot cake was the best dessert that I have had in months. In addition, the service was outstanding considering the stress of this pandemic, and they strived to ensure that guests felt safe on the patio. At the end of my meal, I was given a Happy birthday card which was such a beautiful gesture. Thank you J. Alexander's Easton for making my day so special! I look forward to visit this location again in the future!

Absolutely amazing!! My mom and I ate there for the very first time and from our server Nick, bus boy (sorry I forgot his name) and the manager who greeted us on the way out were exceptional! I would definitely go there again and recommend Sunday after church, that's when we went and it was a great experience.

The food was really good !! A little pricey but not too bad. Nice, clean beautiful interior design. I Especially loved the carrot cake. I'm not even a fan of carrot cake in general but theirs is delicious!

Delicious food and superb service!! I had Alex's Salad with Chicken Pasta Soup and my husband had the Cajun Trout with fries..We will be back again and again! A+++ A shout out to our server, Sydney... she was super friendly and attentive!
